Set of Eight Copeland Spode "Greek" Dinner Plates, ca. 1900, transfer-printed in red, with a Greek-key border and vase-form panels of Greek figures, Zeus driving a chariot in the center panel, dia. 10-1/2".

In overall good condition. Scattered tiny firing anomalies--with a tiny circular surface loss at the rim edge of one and at the foot of another (each probably an open glaze bubble and approx. 1/16" in diameter). One plate exhibits craquelure to the glaze on the reverse. One plate with scattered "lemon peel" surface on the reverse, another with scattered "lemon peel" on and reverse front. A scattered shallow scratch or two to the recessed center of several, probably due to very careful, if any, use.
