Description
Spain, ca. 17th / 18th Century CE. Beautiful and highly ornate high karat gold cross set with thirty four emeralds. Original suspension loop on back. Cross itself measures 2-1/2"H. No doubt made with old Spanish gold and emeralds from the New World judging from the small pillars of Hercules mark on the back. Total weight of gold 8.2 grams, including emeralds.
