Civil War Era Zouave “Drummer Boy’s” Red Coat & Kepi
c. 1860s Civil War Era Original Zouave “Drummer Boy’s” Red Coat & Kepi / Hat, Complete with original Scovill Buttons, Choice Very Fine.

This is an Original 1860s Civil War period Zouave “Drummer Boy” vivid red Coat and Kepi (or hat) complete and in great condition. This Uniform is made from red wool with white cotton trim, Heraldic Eagle buttons which have blank backs. Early construction, said to have come from an estate near Philadelphia, PA. Overall, bright colorful and bold in appearance with slight wear and expected light age to the interior. The matching red Kepi has an ornate gold embroidered looped design on its top. A lovely, rare original matching set for any Zouave or Civil War period display. (2 items)
