c. 1871, Wedgwood Plate with, “THE GREAT SEAL of the STATE of NORTH CAROLINA ESSE QUAM VIDERI”, Choice Extremely Fine.
An original, very colorful, Wedgwood Plate, 10.25”. Central image depicts Liberty standing and holding her staff with cap in her left hand and a scroll titled “CONSTITUTION” in her right hand. Across from her is Plenty seated and holding 3 heads of grain in her right hand and the small end of her horn in her left hand. The contents of the horn are spilling out at her feet.
