Description
In the Persian style, five panels and pinned clasp of silver filigree fretwork set with pink foil backed rose quartz cabochons among meandering flowering polychrome enamel branches and turquoise with Farci incised and gilded inscriptions, interspersed foliate links with faceted foil backed amethysts. Pest, Hungary, 1872-1922. 30" x 2 3/4". 10.93 OT. In oyster shell inlaid box, inscribed Nelly. Provenance: Nelly Adler, daughter of Alfred Adler, a world renowned psychotherapist, father of the "inferiority complex," in the circle of Sigmund Freud.
