Circa 1930, platinum scroll ring, centering an oval shape sapphire accompanied by AGL report # CS 64139 dated November 6, 2014 stating: natural sapphire weighing 5.55 cts, Ceylon origin, no gemological evidence of heat, no clarity enhancement, set with 39 full-cut and eight rectangular-cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.20 cts, graded H-I color and VS-SI clarity, size 5 1/4, 12.8 gms gross, est: $7000/9000

Overall good condition with normal signs of wear. Ring can be sized. Sapphire has chip in girdle at one o'clock, a chip cleaved below girdle halfway down pavillion at nine o'clock, a few other chips along girdle and table facets and an abraided culet. Sapphire to be sold unmounted.
