STAMMERS KAY: (1914-2005) English Tennis Player, Wimbledon finalist in 1939 and Wimbledon Doubles Champion 1935 & 1936. Vintage signed postcard photograph of Stammers standing in a full length pose at the side of a tennis court and holding a racket in one hand. Signed ('Kay Menzies') with her married name in bold, dark fountain pen ink to a light area at the base of the image. Together with a dark fountain pen ink signature ('Kay Stammers') on a page removed from an autograph album, with a newspaper photograph neatly affixed to the left edge. Also including four further pages removed from an autograph album, each multiple signed by various tennis players including Ann Kiyomura-Hayashi, Winnie Wooldridge, Terry Holladay, Lesley Hunt, Julie Anthony, Janet Haas etc. Generally VG, 6
