MARY: (1867-1953) Queen Consort of the United Kingdom 1910-36, wife of King George V. A.L.S., Victoria Mary, as Duchess of York, on two sides of her personal printed correspondence card featuring an embossed cypher and crown, York Cottage, Sandringham, 16th January n.y (1896), to Miss. Wolfe. Writing in bold, indelible pencil the Duchess asks 'Would you & yr. sister like to come & see me tomorrow at 4.15 (Sandringham time) when I would show you the baby?'. Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by the Duchess. About EX
