1920's fine woodblock reprint of Ushibori in Hitachi Province (Joshu Ushibori) from the series Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji (Fugaku sanjurokkei) produced from 1830-31. Ink and color on thick, fibrous paper, oban print shows an elderly man emptying a bucket over the side of a houseboat with Mount Fuji in the background. Poetic inscription above boat, not seen in original publication. Artists inscription to left. Mounted in a mat. With central crease. Approx. 9 3/4 by 14 3/8., 24.8 by 36.6 cm.
