(Walt Disney Studios, 1940s) A unique pen and ink illustration done in the style of comic-strip art featuring “Mickey Mouse”, “Donald Duck”, “Jose Carioca”, and “Goofy” as they present a birthday cake to “Miss Sintonia”. Sintonia was the company responsible for translating Disney films into Spanish for the Central and South American markets. This illustration was most likely done for print work, either within the company or for advertising. The entire piece measures 17 x 12 in. In very good condition with a center crease and some wear from handling throughout.
