This lot comprises seven bottles of 1999 vintage Château Domaine de Chevalier from the Pessac-Léognan appellation in Bordeaux.
The appellation is part of the Graves wine region, south of the city of Bordeaux. Vines thrive on the Ice Age gravel terraces, producing first-class mineral red wines made up of Cabernet Sauvignon and some Merlot and Cabernet franc. Aside from Château Haut-Brion, the region’s iconic Premier cru classé, Pape-Clément and Smith Haut-Lafite are the leading wine growers of the region. The appellation is also the home of intense, powerful dry white wines. Cuvées made from Sauvignon blanc and Sémillon are aromatic and structurally characterized by Sauvignon blanc.
The 1999 vintage Château Domaine de Chevalier was rated 17 of 20 points by René Gabriel in 2007.
The fill levels are excellent (into neck). The labels and capsules are in perfect condition.
