A Victorian singing bird automaton table clock, late 19th century, the four birds tweeting and moving amongst the boughs of a wirework and fabric flower adorned rosebush, the clock within a rocky outcrop below, with Roman enamel dial inscribed for Nathan & Co. Birmingham, with strike on bell within, a turning glass rod to one side simulating flowing water, on a naturalistically modelled and painted oval base, above an ebonised and waisted wood socle housing the movements, all beneath a glass dome, 73cm high overall
