Description
MEM Signature of Winston Churchill, signed ("Winston S. Churchill") on Admiralty Yacht headed paper (likely to be HMS 'Enchantress' and signed during a visit when the yacht was stationed at Portsmouth in late 1912), along with the signature of Clementine Churchill and a number of others, presumably officers and crew on board the yacht, two signatures dated 1 December 1912, mounted on card adjacent to a small photograph of HMS 'Enchantress', silver gelatin print mounted on verso showing guests to a dinner party "given by Mrs. (?)Tuggase at Claridges" in 1912, signed by guests on mount. HMS 'Enchantress' is said to have been a favourite of Winston Churchill during his time as First Lord of the Admiralty.
