Mount margins trimmed in a slightly irregular way. A very nice image; a mounted sepia, gelatine silver print photograph of Queen Marie of Romania with Romanian national costume in a landwood with Castle Bran in the background (overall size 30.6 x 24.1cm). Inscribed in ink to mount upper margin "A Happy Xmas to [aunt?] Molly, in remembrance of our time together" and signed on lower margin "Marie, 1926". Light age toning and some silvering, but nonetheless a charming picture; a mounted black and white, head and shoulders photo of Leopold of Battenberg, approximately size 19.7 x 14.6cm. Signed and dated in ink "Leopold of Battenberg, 1909". Ink slightly faded, but signature remains legible. A few pen and pencil annotations to rear. Fascinating pictures of three of Queen Victoria's grandchildren.
