K-035 U.S. M1840 "wrist breaker" cavalry sword. Brass pommel and 3-branch guard. Old replaced brass wire wrapped leather grip. Unmarked, fairly clean 35 1/2" curved blade has grayed. Original leather buffer. Scabbard has been painted black and the bands/rings and drag were nickel plated some time ago. About II
