E-016 Imperial German 89th Mecklenburg Infantry EM pre-1914 helmet. Silvered crowned oval State coat-of-arms within an oak leaf wreath - mounted on a gilt brass starburst. Age toned gilt brass convex chinscales, visor trim, round spike base/fluted spike and spine. Solid black leather body. National and State rosettes have been repainted. Brown leather drawstring liner shows some wear. Stampings on back underside of visor include "1913" - probably date of reissue. II
