Lt. Ralph Buckley (124th Regt. Pa. Volunteer Infantry, in 1864 attached to the 197th Pa.) group of 10 letters to his wife, Sept. 13 to Dec. 25, 1862, another dated Baltimore, Aug. 3, 1864, the first in the field near Frederick, Md., others from Maryland Heights and Loudon Heights, Loudon Valley, and Fairfax; the last in camp near Baltimore; with very descriptive content concerning camp life, pickets and guerrilla warfare, home life, and so forth; together with a letter from an employee at home in Media, Pa.
