Description
TIBETAN WOOD BLOCK PRINT. Purchased by the current owner in the early 1970s. Wood block print of a Tibetan deity holding a dorje and other religious ritual implements with human heads. The print 11 x 14 inches centered on a 21 x 24 inch rice paper. The paper is all the same color not showing the shadows on the photo and the ink of the print is blacker and considerably more distinct than shown. Good condition.
Provenance: The collection of a Midwestern business executive. Acquired from a West Coast Oriental art dealer in the late 20th century.
