early 20th century, beautifully detailed man and woman, extremely well carved with painted wooden swivel heads, on wood articulated jointed bodies with mortise and tenon construction, carved hands and feet with jointed ankles, wearing elaborate Middle Eastern costumes with leather shoes, largest 38" t.
