Pre-Columbian, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, ca.1000 CE. Two stone mace heads, one depicting a bird of prey (3"H x 4-1/2"W), the other depicting the head of a jaguar (3"H x 4"W). Both custom mounted.

Condition
Both intact/excellent, with heavy lime deposits. A nice buffing would bring out the beautiful original color of the stone.
