Description

Original walnut frame with a shadow box gilt liner houses three molded shelves where a composite of (18) individual photogravures rest and are individually framed in lemon-gilt frames with arches of contrasting hardwoods. It is believed that the composite was hung at Philips Andover Academy due to the first sitter in the composite being associated with the academy.
