Willis G. Richardson was born in Reading, MA and died in Lawrence, MA in 1912. He enlisted as a private (date unknown) and served in the Eleventh U.S. Infantry which was involved in the Battle of Bull Run, Camp near Potomac Creek, VA, Gettysburg, Antietam, as well as "F" Company. Letters from Newburn, NC, Washington, DC, Camp Nelson, VA. etc. Other ephemera includes: Letters of correspondence making claims for pension, member of the GAR certificate, and other post Civil War correspondence.
