Civil War letters to and from home include: Letters from Moses E. Tenney (stationed New Orleans) to his family, letters from Old Point Comfort, Virginia, Moses E. Tenny (Bermuda Hundreds). Together with a great deal of Civil War era correspondence to and from members of the Tenney and Walton families living in Byfield, Melrose, Salem, Georgetown etc. Letter from Walter Rogers discussing soldiers dying from cholera. Letter from 50th Mass Regiment, Photography includes: CDV album with Washington honoring Lincoln in heaven, Civil War soldier Gus Walton, "deaf and dumb" Uncle Tom, (3) unidentified Civil War soldiers, Civil War soldier William T. Foster as well as members of the Walton, Colby and Tenny families. Tintype album of miniature tintypes of Walton,Tenny, Colby, Rogers and other allied family members. CDV of Soldier Augustus Walton of Rowley, MA.
