This is a photograph by the Swiss photographer Michel Comte. It depicts the top model Naomi Campbell, sitting undressed on a bed and wearing the only decoration of black feathers. This photograph was taken for the British VogueComte steadily aims at creating pictures of great proximity that allow the observer to get a personal impression of the portrayed.
Signed on Lumas edition certificate that will be delivered separately. This is number 72 from a limited edition of 150 pieces. The photograph is in very good condition. The depiction measures 100 x 100 cm and the total dimensions, including the frame, are 101.4 x 101.4 cm.
Michel Comte (b. 1954)
Michel Comte apprentices as a restorer before working at Bruno Bischofsberger Gallery in Zurich. Then he started working as a photographer for the fashion designer Hannes B. One of his most famous photographs is a portrait of Carla Bruni. The original photograph was sold at an auction at Christie’s in 2008 for €50,000. In addition, he portrayed celebrities such as George Clooney and Sophia Loren. He was commissioned advertisement campaigns for some of the biggest fashion brands in the world.
