Nice looking painting. As viewed under blacklight in the unopened frame: 1 dot of fluorescence in the field along the far left edge near the lip of the frame and about halfway up the painting which shows up as a white spot under room light; the signature shows as being strong under UV light, but then it is the same intensity under room light (the area behind the signature fluoresces but then that may be due to the area possibly needing cleaning); c. 1 1/4" long medium dark mark in the sky in the UL; only a small amount of craquelure (as in the LR); could use some cleaning; not lined or patched; original stretcher bars; period gilt frame with some cracks and 'wear'.
