This meiping type porcelain vase with ‘peach bloom’ glaze was made in China and dates to the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). The vase ascends on a circular, sweeping foot rim on which the slender body with articulated shoulder rises. A short neck with white mouth forms the upper end of the vase. The entire wall is decorated with a red to purplish glaze.
The vase is in good condition with hardly any signs of wear and small manufacturing flaws. A minimal chip on the glaze rim of the base is visible. The height is 12 cm.
