Beauty Thinking of a Suitor Kuchi-e Print
Interesting kuchi-e illustration of a kneeling beauty leaning against a low table, thinking about her suitor. She tilts her head with a dreamy expression, holding a round fan to her face. A circular inset at upper left shows the object of her thoughts, a young man in Western dress with a black jacket and a plaid tie. A stack of books and a container of brushes sits on the table, with a tray on the floor holding a bottle and a wineglass. Nicely detailed with touches of metallic silver pigment.

Condition
With excellent color and detail. Two light creases, as with all kuchi-e prints (because of their use). Some light soiling at edges. A few small holes and losses repaired from reverse. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
