The Etruscan strap handle clay amphora dates from the first half of the 7th century BC. It features a flattened bulbous form and stands on a slightly recessed foot ring. The retracted neck has a slightly projecting mouth edge, to which are attached the broad strap handles. The wall shows a encircling carved and punched geometric decoration, including spirals, diagonal and crossed strips and crossed circles.
The amphora is in good restored condition. It was broken and has been restored professionally. The height is 19 cm, and the diameter measures 22 cm. (cko)
