This replica of a KLM Lockheed L1049 Super Constellation on a scale of 1:72 was made around 1960 by the Dutch company Raise-Up, which had specialized in the manufacture of aircraft models. In addition to KLM their clients included Swissair, Lufthansa and Ethiopian Airlines. The Super Constellation by the American manufacturer Lockheed was one of the most successful long-haul aircrafts and in use in Europe for many years. The model in KLM Flying Dutchman livery sits on its original metal stand with the KLM Logo and Lockheed plaque.

The aircraft is marked on the underside ‘MANUFACTURED BY “RAISE UP” ROTTERDAM HOLLAND’. It is in good condition with a few signs of age and wear as well as minimal retouching to the paint. The propellers are missing. The stand is mounted unprofessionally. The length measures 74 cm, the wingspread is 79 cm. (tfa)
