This extraordinary table lamp was probably designed by the Austrian architect Otto Prutscher around 1920. As a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus, Prutscher was known for his Art Nouveau designs. This is a beautiful example of his creative ideas. The lamp’s charm derives from its original design. The pleated shade running around the top breaks up the linear form, adding a playful element.
The lamp is in good condition with signs of age and wear. The lamp comes with a three-light fixture and has an old two-pronged plug. Functionality has not been tested and is not guaranteed. The lamp measures 62 cm in height. The diameter is 41 cm. The cable length is approximately 185 cm. (tfa)
