Decorative table lamp in organic design vocabulary characteristic for the Art Nouveau style
This table lamp was made after a design by Friedrich Adler in 1901/02. Its organic shape is typical for the style of the Art Nouveau period. Its circular, trefoil convex shaped foot is decorated with stylized pretzel décor with corresponding biconical-shaped braces that branch out. With 3 screw sockets made of Bakelite.
The lamp is in good condition with slight signs of age and wear. One shade holder slightly broken, however it can be restored by a decorative metalworker. Without lamp shade. Height: 42 cm. Diameter: 35 cm.
