Militaria / Local Interest : A unique and rare collection of inter - war period postcards relating to RAF Halton , to include five depicting training aircraft ( Sopwith Snipe , Avro Andover & 504 , De Havilland DH9A , Bristol Fighter ) , a squadron intake postcard ( marked ' G . Squadron No 1 Section , September 1922 Entry ' ) , a formation of POW ( marked ' German Prisoners at Wendover 1918 ' ) and a series of postcards of RAF Halton Camp , depicting Halton House , Aerodrome , Barracks , Guard Room , Church , several parades and two relating to the Duke of York's Inspection , December 11th 1922 .
