This is a Pair of Signed Vintage Van Briggle Conch Sea Shell Pottery Planter Vessels from Colorado Springs. These pieces have a nice aqua matte glaze. The shells measure approximately 8.5” long and 3.5” tall. One of the shells is etched with the number 38, and the other the number 37, which denote the type of clay used. Both are etched with the signature of etcher "C" employed from 1952-1965. The double ink slashes identify the glazer, employed from 19470-1960.
