This lot comprises five bottles of 1996 vintage Puligny-Montrachet produced by Domaine Leflaive in Burgundy: thee bottles of Clavoillon and two bottles of Les Pucelles.

The Puligny-Montrachet appellation produces some of the most highly-valued, complex and frequently sought-after dry white wines in the world, made predominantly from Chardonnay. The area encompasses almost 150 hectares of village vineyards, 100 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards and 22 hectares of Grand Cru vineyards. The four Grand Cru vineyards – Le Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and Chevalier-Montrachet produce the most expensive and exquisite dry white wines in the world.

The 1995 vintage Leflaive Clavoillon was rated 90 points in a 1999 issue of Wine Spectator magazine. The 1995 vintage Leflaive Les Pucelles was rated 95 points in the same issue.

The fill levels are excellent (< 3 cm). The labels and capsules are in perfect condition.
