This lot comprises eleven bottles red wine produced by Gaja of Barbaresco in Piedmont: two bottles of 1990 vintage Barbaresco, three bottles of 1993 vintage Sori Tildin and six bottles of 1995 vintage Barbaresco.

The Barbaresco wine region is situated immediately next to its neighbors of Barolo and is home to a truly complex and long-lasting premium wine, the Barbaresco. Fifty years ago, Barbaresco emancipated itself from its famous neighbors. It too consists of the Nebbiolo grape variety, which takes root in the calciferous marl soil and can result in intense red wines. The best Barbaresco, like that of Angelo Gaja, retains its value and is long-lasting and rare.

The 1990 vintage Barbaresco was rated 95 points by Antonio Galloni in 2010. The wine was rated 94 points by Wine Spectator in 1993. The 1993 vintage Sori Tildin was rated 89 points by Robert Parker in 1997. The wine was rated 94 points by Wine Spectator in 1996. The 1995 vintage Barbaresco was rated 90 points by Robert Parker in 1999. The wine was rated 94 points by Wine Spectator in 1998.

The fill levels are excellent (< 3 cm). The labels and capsules are in perfect condition.
