This Cartier jewelry set contains a bracelet and a pair of creoles. The set was made 2004 and 2005 in Paris of 18 karat yellow gold and convinces with its timeless elegance. The clasp of the bracelet is fitted on the side a safety hook.



The bracelet is hallmarked on the clasp with ‘Cartier 750’, the copyright sign and numbered ‘40475 A’. The marks of the master and the guarantee mark are visible on the fastener. Each creole is marked on the narrow sides with ‘Cartier’, ‘750’, the copyright sign and the number ‘56983A, the master and guarantee marks are visible on the edges of the clips.



The condition of the set is new. The length of the bracelet measures 19 cm, each length of the earring is 1.5 cm and the total weight is c. 56.64 grams.



Cartier

The exclusive French jeweler and watch company Cartier was founded in Paris in 1847 and gained international renown in 1904 with the ‘Santos de Cartier’, a wristwatch created for the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont. A further milestone in the history of modern watchmaking was the introduction of the Tank watch in 1917, which was inspired by British First World War tanks. The typical Panthère motif was first introduced in 1914 with a women's watch, in 1935 with a ring for the Duchess of Windsor and was later transformed into the famous jewelry series ‘Panthère de Cartier’. The theme was significantly developed by Jeanne Toussaint, nicknamed ‘La Panthère’, who was the creative director of Fine Jewelry from 1933 and as a metaphor of femininity the panther remains an icon of the House of Cartier.
