A mid Victorian 18ct gold split pearl and enamel ring. The split pearl and red guilloche enamel geometric quatrefoil, with red guilloche enamel grooved shoulders and band, to the woven hair panel reverse. Two split pearls are loose/unmounted. Hallmarks for London, 1850. Ring size L. Weight 4.6gms.

Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Two split pearls, including the principal split pearl, are unmounted and loose with the lot. Split pearls are possible replacements. Inner shoulder engraved 2863, partially indistinct. Residue within the woven hair panel. Significant losses and chipped sections to the enamel. Possible repairs to the enamel/re-enamelled.
