On the occasion of the exhibition ‘The Archives. Art Information Center Peter Van Beveren’ that was shown in 1981 at the Provincial Museum in Hasselt, Belgium, the founder of Archives, Peter van Beveren decided to issue an artist's book instead of a catalog. He asked 30 artist which are personally important for him, to create works of art specifically for this book. Thus this very interesting work with contributions of different artistic directions originated in an edition of 500 copies.

The artist’s book with 30 contributions by different artists is signed by the publisher with India ink ‘peter v beveren’ and provided with the stamped copy number ‘15’ in the justification. Occasional works are additionally signed by the respective artists. The book is in overall very good condition. It measures 30.5 x 21.7 cm. (fea)
