American, early 19th century in part, comprising a pair of period bell metal andirons with log stops, probably Boston, late 18th/early 19th century, 17-1/2 x 17-1/2 in.; with bell metal and iron shovel and tongs; period serpentine pierced fender, 3-1/2 x 43-3/4 in.; together with a 20th century shovel, tongs, poker and stand, tools 27 in. to 35-3/4 in., (seven pieces), all generally good condition with surface wear and distress consistent with age and use.
