Description
The lot features a Lakota Sioux Native American Indian pipe stem and bowl. The bowl shows a carved Pipestone or Catlinite T shape. The stem is carved wood showing file burns, yellow blue and red paints, hide fringe, and glass trade bead work. The piece is from the 1960's from the Thunderbird collection Bloomington, Minn. Measures together 31.75". Stem 27.5"x1.5"x.75" with 9.25" fringe. Bowl 5.5"x3.5"x 7/8" with a 1/2" opening.
