Item Details

Description

These are artifacts were recovered from Fort Custer and the Rock Island Arsenal. The brass end cap is marked "U.S. Rock Island Arsenal". It measures 2" x 2". The other piece was recovered from Fort Custer in the late 1800's. It appears to be made from brass and copper. Both pieces are in good condition.
