Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Hairline cracks observed to ebonized areas on top, side, and base panels. Several raised areas are noted throughout the marquetry, with some moderate discoloration- most noticeably along the right edge of the top, the back of the left side panel, the front of the right side panel, and along the center left of the front panel. A ½ inch area of loose veneer is noted to the front edge of the right side panel. Opens easily. A slight separation is noted to the wood bottom of the interior. A handsome example.
