English Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard, early 20th c., the banded inlaid top over a central frieze drawer above an inlaid knee hole cutout, flanked by two drawers on each side within inlaid stiles, on square tapered inlaid legs on casters, H.- 33 1/4 in., W.- 62 1/2 in., D.- 25 3/4 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. There is significant wear to the top surface of the sideboard, with several areas of white discoloration to the finish and scattered surface scratches. The inlaid trim is largely lacking from the top and bottom edges of the sides of the top surface. The right side panel has a horizontal shrinkage crack running across the center and the left side panel has a 1” scuff mark in the back corner. Two of the drawer pulls are detached but present, as is the escutcheon from the top right drawer. There is moderate wear to the legs. The damage does not detract from the elegant overall appearance.
