Three Piece Art Deco Patinated Spelter, Onyx and Marble Clock Set, c. 1940, by Fini, Paris, time and strike, the geometric clock flanked by a spelter figure of a German shepherd dog, together with a matching pair of geometric coupes, Clock- H.- 12 1/4 in., W.- 16 in., D.- 4 1/8 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Not tested for working order. A ¼ inch chip is noted to the marble base of the clock, beneath the clock face. Dog, clock face border, and coupe tops are seen with a nice patina. Glass is seen with dirt debris and a ¼ loss to the top left corner. Both coupes with chipping along the edges – one with ¼ chips to top left and bottom left and right corners. Dust debris observed all over. An intriguing example.
