oval panel with three-masted sailing ship below eagle banner, upper corners with flags and crosses, lower corners with anchors, wool yarn sewn onto linen, probably American, 19th century, 16-3/4 x 29-3/4 in. (sight); scratched on side of wood frame "Next to Last Trip…Percival…Brooklyn". Pest damage to wool, especially in corners, grime, fading; frame with scratches. Provenance: Passaglia Collection.
