A fine little work in boxwood: The shika with small antlers is standing and looking attentively, the fawn is resting on the ground. Both animals are placed on an irregular plate, natural himotoshi. In China the deer is a symbol of luck, bringing a higher salary and long life. It is also known as the companion of the luck deity Jurojin.
