A STEREOPTICON, 100 (+/-) SLIDES AND A POSTCARD COLLECTION, late 19th-early 20th century. The stereopticon slides include gold miners at work in Alaska, scenes of Washington, Oregon, California and around the country, cased; together with both leather and paper postcards of scenes in Oregon and the nation as well as around the world, a collection of about 75.
Condition report539: Stereoscope in good condition, no losses, repairs or notable flaws. Postcards are in average to above average condition, most with correspondence. Stereoscope cards in good to very good condition. Very small number with creases, some with pencil annotations. Approximately 2/3 of the collection are crisp with minimal fading.
