Moosehead Lake, Maine, Katahdin. Mid 1800's. Straight from Maine attic this excellent oil on canvas shows, cows, fences, sailboat, and steam paddleboat….Katahdin? 36" x 22" including frame. Unsigned, there is penciling on the back stretcher that we cannot make out. We are not sure its a Seth Steward, but it certainly looks like his works, you make the call.
