FRAMED ALPHABET SAMPLER - Boston Region Sampler, silk on coarse linen, marked at bottom "Kitty Rosecheves, Her Work Made in the 11 (sic) Year of Her Age, 1789", featuring a camel and lambs in front of a truncated pyramid, flanked by pines, with vine and blossom borders. In 1920s stick frame, under glass, OS: 15 1/4" x 16", SS: 1 33/4" x 14 1/2", good condition, a bit faded.
