SOUTHERN TRIPLE DECK SHELF CLOCK - Antebellum Mahogany Case Clock by M&W Dyer of Savannah, Georgia (1837-1840), with a carved eagle at top, flanked by bull's-eye capitals, gold painted dial and mirror flanked by Doric columns, lower tablet with eglomise bluebell flowers between ogee plinths, weight driven brass time and strike movement, with original paper label inside, weights, bob and crank, no key. 36" x 18" x 6". Shrinkage cracks and minor paint loss to dial, a few spots of veneer loss and bubbling.
